The Power of Embroidery began with a personal artifact of love, tradition, and protection: a hand-embroidered ryshnuk created by my grandmother. Stitched with intricate motifs and blessed for good fortune, it was made small enough to roll up and carry alongside my passport as I traveled the world.

More than a textile, it became a connection to my Ukrainian heritage—a reminder of home and the traditions I carried with me. Through screen printing and freehand mark-making, this collection transforms traditional embroidery motifs into a contemporary exploration of identity, memory, and resilience, inspired by passports, journeys, and the stories cultural symbols carry across generations.
