Vyshyvanka Unbound explores the transformation of Ukrainian embroidery from a traditional visual language into a contemporary expression of identity, resilience, and renewal.

During a time of war, vyshyvanka has taken on renewed significance, with new generations embracing traditional garments as symbols of cultural pride and connection. Inspired by this movement, the collection explores how heritage continues to evolve across generations.

I reinterpret traditional embroidery motifs digitally, transforming them into hand-pulled screen prints layered with abstract backgrounds created through expressive squeegee techniques rather than brushes. Vyshyvanka Unbound bridges tradition and contemporary abstraction, honoring heritage as a living language that continues to transform and inspire.
